Her work has been award winning in many art shows, and has been represented in at least seven gallery’s in Missouri and Naples Florida.
Creativity and curiosity, has always been major drives in her life. Music, clowning, acting, decorating, gardening, crafting are a few if her interests. A love of nature, pattern and visual excitement is displayed in her painting.
Jane has a bachelor and Master’s degree in both elementary education and art. Melding her education efforts, she has always taught others in all areas of her many passions.
Painting is a vehicle to be always learning and exploring.
Upon setting up her studio in The Art2Amaze gallery she has focused on three goals. First job is to paint. Creativity only grows with work. Sharing her work and connecting directly with viewers is an exciting by-product of being in the gallery/studio environment.
Second to painting, teaching small classes in watercolor is another love. Nothing is better than showing her students that creativity hides in us all. Watercolor is not as difficult as believed. The water, paint, brushes, paper and knowledge set the stage for unlocking the artist in her students.
This Midwest girl has gone through many stages of life. At a young age of 68 years, having the time to focus on her art is a dream, a blessing and a gift.
